Details

A battery powered pallet jack tipped over resulting in the spill of approximately 1.5-2 gallons of electrolyte onto the floor. There were no injuries reported. The spill wa contained with a spill kit but workers complained about the resulting odor, taste of the agent, dry throats, headaches, etc. When they tried to ventilate the spill area the odor made its way to the office area resulting in further complaints of the odor there.
