Hazard Alerts

  • Fractured Leg A worker sustained a fractured left leg while hoisting a waste elevator with a forklift.  The chain slipped and the load shifted, striking the worker in the leg.
  • Laceration A worker was working with a hand grinder when the grinder jammed and kicked back from the object the worker was working on.  The grinder made contact with the worker's left hand.  The worker received stitches to a cut on the finger.
  • Unknown A worker was climbing over a potato conveyor and slipped, becoming entangled between the conveyor belt and the motor support plate.
