Manitoba Construction Sector Council
Five partners joined together in January of 2009 to form a new Manitoba council; committed to strengthening the skills of the province's construction sector workforce. The Manitoba Construction Sector Council ("MCSC") has now opened its office for business at 1000 Waverley Street in Winnipeg. Representatives of the following organizations will guide the activities of the new organization:
- Construction Association of Rural Manitoba
- Manitoba Building and Construction Trades Council
- Manitoba Heavy Construction Association
- Manitoba Home Builders' Association
- Winnipeg Construction Association
The mandate of MCSC is to assist Manitoba's construction sector by consulting industry stakeholders and offering solutions to their current and future human resource needs. The council's primary goal is to upgrade skills throughout the industry.

Manitoba Heavy Construction Association
The Manitoba Heavy Construction Association is a non-profit organization advocating the positive relationship between sustainable investment in infrastructure and our quality of life, the economy and the evnironment.
The WorkSafely Program is an ‘Authority Having Jurisdiction’ to grant COR™ in the province of Manitoba. In achieving this national safety program accreditation in Manitoba, WorkSafely practices the utmost diligence to ensure that the national COR™ standards are upheld. With one common audit instrument utilized across Canada, the national standard is clear: Minimum 50% in each element and an overall audit score of 80%.

Construction Safety Association of Manitoba
The Construction Safety Association of Manitoba is your premiere source for quality safety information, resources, tools and training. Established in 1990, the Association works in the best interests of Manitoba construction-related companies to provide effective practical solutions and create and maintain a safer workplace.
CSAM is one of two Manitoba associations that offer COR certification.
COR is an occupational health and safety accreditation program that verifies a fully implemented safety & health program which meets national standards. The objectives of COR™ are to provide industry employers with an effective safety and health management system to reduce incidents, accidents and injuries as well as their associated human and financial costs.

CCOHS promotes a safe and healthy working environment by providing information and advice about occupational health and safety.

Work Safe BC
WorkSafeBC is dedicated to promoting workplace health and safety for the workers and employers of this province. We consult with and educate employers and workers and monitor compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation.
