Course Objectives:

The intent of this course is to ensure that employers, supervisors, workers and members of the safety and health committee are aware of their responsibilities in identifying and controlling hazards in the workplace, and have the tools to develop safe work procedures.  Specifically, participants in this course will be able to:

• Identify and understand the legislation related to hazard identification and control
• Understand measures to identify, assess and control hazards in your workplace
• Conduct a Job Hazard Analysis and develop a Safe Work Procedure
